Attorney, Laurie Coker

Laurie Coker is an experienced trial attorney who was admitted to the California Bar in

2011. Prior to becoming an attorney, Laurie worked as a legal assistant and paralegal in the

field of family law in Riverside County for 10 years. For her entire legal career, Laurie has solely

practiced family law.

Laurie is a proud wife, mother, grandmother and dog-mom who approaches her

profession with the same passion that she has for her family. Laurie grew up in Georgia and

first came to California as a military spouse in 1992. Her life experience as a military spouse

gives her a unique understanding of military issues in the context of family law matters. She

has extensive experience representing both service members and their spouses.

Laurie attended Wingate College (now named Wingate University) in North Carolina and

earned her Juris Doctor Degree from California Southern School of Law by attending night

school while raising her children and working full-time as a family law paralegal in a busy

Temecula law firm. Attorney Coker is known to both the local bar and the bench and she strives

to exemplify excellence in all areas related to her advocacy.
